“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
This is a powerful quote.
Not because it sounds poetic—though it does—but because we’ve watched it play out over the years.
Creativity doesn’t behave the way we expect most things to. It doesn’t get depleted with use. It doesn’t run out when times are busy or when energy feels low. In fact, it often shows up most clearly when we make space for it, even in small ways.
A few minutes at the table.
A project without a deadline.
An afternoon where the goal is simply to enjoy the process.
Over the years, we’ve seen how making art becomes part of how people care for themselves. Not as an escape, and not as something performative, but as a way to reconnect. To feel grounded. To feel capable. To feel like themselves again.
Some days, creativity looks like finishing a piece and feeling proud.
Other days, it looks like mixing colors just to see what happens.
Both count. It all counts.
We believe creativity grows through repetition, not pressure. Through permission, not perfection. When you return to it again and again, it becomes something you can rely on. A steady companion through many seasons of life.
Creativity doesn’t ask you to be perfect.
It just asks you to start.
And when you do, it gives back far more than it takes.
We’re grateful to be part of this creator community. One that values making, sharing, and supporting one another along the way.
Use your creativity often.
It grows every time you do. :)
