Fir Tree Silicone Mold - 2 PK

Sale price $22.00 Regular price $24.00

These dimensional Fir tree silicone molds (aka, Spruce trees) come in two sizes, measuring 3.2" x 3.3" for the smaller tree, and 4.8" x 4.9" for the larger tree. They are perfect for holiday decorating or all-year round!

Imagine the wintery scene with these big and small trees displayed on a tray with some fairy lights or battery-powered tea light candles!

Note: The large mold is very flexible and should be poured in layers given the depth. If you choose to pour all in one pour you will need to prop the sides against something sturdy so it doesn’t lean or fall over from the weight of the resin.

These molds are

  • Flexible, soft and reusable
  • Made of non-toxic food-grade silicone; BPA free
  • Heat resistant: -40 to +446 degrees Fahrenheit, (-40 to +230 degrees Celsius)
  • Non-stick for easy release

Tips (always follow instructions for the resin you are using - these are meant as general guidelines):

  • Always pour your resin into the hardener (pour hardener into the mixing container first, then resin).
  • Stir resin with a plastic or silicone stirring stick to reduce air bubbles. Wood is not recommended as it can create air bubbles.
  • Let resin sit a few minutes after stirring to reduce air bubbles.
  • Don’t use a torch or heat gun as it could damage the molds and make it difficult to de-mould, causing them to tear - this is especially true near the edges.
  • Wash mold as needed in warm soapy water.
