Strawberry Silicone Mold

Regular price $8.00

If you love Strawberries as much as we do, this mold is a must have! Not only is it absolutely charming, it's also delightfully functional! You can keep your goodies stashed away in this jar and put it on the shelf as a work of art!

To get the resin to flow into the pointy leaves, push the resin into the mold with the end of a small paintbrush.

These molds measure 2.87" tall and 3.38" wide and are

  • Flexible, soft and reusable
  • BPA free
  • Heat resistant: -40 to +446 degrees Fahrenheit, (-40 to +230 degrees Celsius)
  • Non-stick for easy release

Tips (always follow instructions for the resin you are using - these are meant as general guidelines):

  • Always pour your resin into the hardener (pour hardener into the mixing container first, then resin).
  • Stir resin with a plastic or silicone stirring stick to reduce air bubbles. Wood is not recommended as it can create air bubbles.
  • Let resin sit a few minutes after stirring to reduce air bubbles.
  • Don’t use a torch or heat gun as it could damage the molds and make it difficult to de-mould, causing them to tear - this is especially true near the edges.
  • Wash mold as needed in warm soapy water.

Cute but hard to fill the top

The mold is well made and the strawberry part is perfect. I've tried filling the top (leaves) and it's impossible to get them filled completely. I've tried pouring the resin directly in the mold, expecting the resin to flow into the leave ends. No amount of pushing the resin in worked. I was able to get one or two leaves filled. I checked after I removed that one and the openings are open. Next attempt was to pour the resin directly into the leaves and still not much better. My resin isn't thick and flows well, so I can't figure out way it won't go into the leaves.

    LOVE this mold

I have made 2 of these and love them. 4 Stars because they are a bit of a struggle to demold, but that is the shapes fault. The top needs some babying to get rid of bubbles in the leaf ends, but they turn out so cute! First craft show with them next week. Hope the sell well for me. I will most likely be buying another to expand production, after my show.
